“We do not preach ourselves, but we preach Jesus Christ as Lord” (2 Corinthians 4:5) writes St. Paul—and for good reason! Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus is the Saviour of the world! Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Jesus is the Bridge between God and us. Jesus is our Priceless Treasure.

In our bondage, Jesus is our Freedom.

LCC Central District Convention

Holiday Inn Airport West
Theme: “O God, Our Help In Ages Past”
(Psalm 90; LSB 733)

The District Convention is the Annual Meeting of the Central District. As of January 1, 2019, the three LCC Districts: ABC District will be known as West Region; Central District will be known as the Central Region, and East District will be known as East Region.
The Board’s approval of the name changes is one part of the ongoing changes to the structure …

Grand Forks is located at the confluence of the Granby and Kettle Rivers in the southern interior of British Columbia. Spring flooding along river banks is a common event, usually with little or no permanent damage to park and recreation sites along the rivers. Building in the flood …

What Canada needs is salt and light. Jesus says to us, “You are the salt of the earth…You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:13, 14). Salt impedes decay. Salt preserves and seasons. Light is necessary for life. Light revitalizes. Light refreshes.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer said, “Flight into the invisible is a denial of the call. A community of Jesus which seeks to hide itself has ceased to follow Him.” St. Paul writes, “We were buried with Jesus through baptism into death in order that, just as …
