EDMONTON – Jennifer Jade Kerr has been nominated for the 38th Annual Covenant Awards—her fourth nomination since 2012. Kerr, a member of Lutheran Church–Canada, has been nominated for Collaboration of the Year along with Mike R. Schuster for their song “Nobody Loves Me Like You.”

“Though I unfortunately am not heading to Edmonton this weekend for the Covenant Awards, it’s such an honour to be nominated alongside Mike for this song we cowrote a few years ago,” she wrote on social media. “I also had the pleasure of singing on the recording! Such fun. I really believe these lyrics, and this project was a treat to be a part of.”

The 38th Annual Covenant Awards takes place January 26, 2017 in Edmonton. The Covenant Awards are presented annually by the Gospel Music Association of Canada, and recognize excellence in Canadian Christian music.

Kerr was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year in both 2013 and 2014, while her album “Permission to Be Broken” was nominated for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year in 2012. The same album saw Kerr nominated in the 2013 Western Canadian Music Awards as well, in the category of Spiritual Recording of the Year.
