HAITI- CLWR Executive Director Robert Granke, LCC’s mission executive Rev. Dr. Leonardo Neitzel, ELCIC Communications Director Trina Gallop and CLWR’s Community Relations Director Tom Brook are currently in Haiti. They are spending a week there visiting projects supported by funds raised during CLWR’s Appeal for Haiti. Lutherans in Canada donated almost $1.2 million following the devastating earthquake that struck last January 12.

Dr. Neitzel is also planning to meet with local Lutheran leaders with whom LCC has an affiliation either as an ILC partner church or through Haiti Lutheran Mission Society.

CLWR Executive Director Robert Granke filed this report on school reconstruction.

While in Haiti, Tom Brook is posting to CLWR’s blog at http://clwr.wordpress.com/ .
