Lutheran women ‘shine like stars’ in Canada’s capital

More than 200 women gathered in Ottawa for the seventh convention of Lutheran Women’s Missionary League-Canada. Delegates elected Judy Grande to serve another three-year term as president and voted to supply more than $138,000 in mission grants over the next three years. This includes more than $13,000 raised during a mission walk Friday evening which saw the ladies dancing in the streets!
