Start 2010 by walking the streets of Jerusalem

Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR) is offering a Global Encounter experience this coming January in Israel and Palestine. Participants will interact with CLWR partners in the region, the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land, and experience first-hand the religious, political, social and cultural context of the region.

The 15-day trip, hosted by Robert Granke, executive director of CLWR also includes three days in Geneva with visits to the international headquarters of the LWF and the World Council of Churches.

Global Encounters offer CLWR constituents opportunity to visit areas of the world where CLWR is engaged in development programming. The registration fee is $6000. Deadline for registrations is October 1.
