CANADA – The CREW is headed back on the road throughout late November 2015 for a “Christmas Tour” concert series throughout Lower Mainland, B.C. , with plans for another concert series in Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois in March 2016. They also hint at the possibility of an “EPiC Canada trip” for the summer of 2016, with details to come early in the new year.

Upcoming concerts in the “Christmas Tour” in British Columbia include:

  • November 26 – 2:00 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Christian School (Port Coquitlam, B.C.)
  • November 27 – 2:00 p.m. at Cloverdale Christian School (Surrey, B.C.)
  • November 27 – 7:30 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church (Port Coquitlam, B.C.)
  • November 28 – 7:30 p.m. at Shepherd of the Valley (Langley, B.C.)
  • November 29 – 11:00 a.m. (during worship) at Trinity Lutheran Church (Richmond, B.C.)
  • November 29 – 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church (Surrey, B.C.)

If you can’t make it to the Christmas Tour, the next best option may be to pick up a copy of The CREW’s Covenant Award-nominated album Consider Well… A Christmas Journey with The CREW (available from order from their website). The CREW also makes the album available for a discounted rate for groups wishing to sell the album as a fundraiser (those wishing to take advantage of this offer are invited to contact Joel Haberstock at joel@thecrewguys.com).

The CREW has been sharing their “distinctive blend of humour, harmonies, haircuts, and a message of hope in Jesus” now for 27 years. Their musical offerings range, in their own words, from “contemporary Christian covers to unique mind-cramping originals, from ‘campfire style’ sing-a-longs to four-part a cappella, and from ‘parody polka’ to worship leading, these four guys provide a robust, earthy aroma, with subtle nutty highlights for a special brew that will keep many awake day and night.”

The summer of 2014 saw The Crew travel across the United States of America, driving 10,434 miles (16,792 km) in 12 days to record singing an a capella arrangement of “The Star Spangled Banner” at 25 iconic American landmarks. Three compilation versions of the anthem were subsequently released on YouTube, and a web-series of the entire trip is currently being released weekly. “There are a whole lot of joy-filled moments, and some just plain strange, under-rested goofy ones too,” they note. “We are releasing an episode every Wednesday till the end of time… we mean, November, on our YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/thecrewguys1.”
