WINNIPEG – The workbook for Lutheran Church–Canada’s (LCC) upcoming convention is now available online. The workbook contains reports from various LCC-affiliated agencies, including synod’s officers, boards and commissions, the three districts, synod’s educational institutions, and LCC Auxiliaries and Listed Service Organizations. It also includes overtures which have been submitted for consideration in advance of the coming convention.

“The 2014 Convention Workbook is a valuable resource for anyone preparing for the Tenth Convention of our Lutheran Church–Canada, set for June 6-9, 2014, at the University of British Columbia campus in Vancouver,” President Robert Bugbee writes in the foreword. “It helps you get your bearings for this ‘family gathering,’ whether you are a voting or advisory delegate, an official visitor, or an interested guest.”

In recent weeks, LCC has sent emails to convention delegates, informing them that the workbook would be made available online. Interested parties can now download the workbook by visiting www.synod2014.lutheranchurchcanada.ca/2014-convention-workbook/.
