Seminaries Sunday 2025

CANADA – Resources for Seminaries Sunday 2025 have now been released.

Lutheran Church–Canada (LCC) is served by two seminaries: Concordia Lutheran Seminary (CLS) in Edmonton and Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary (CLTS) in St. Catharines, Ontario. LCC encourages all its congregations to mark Seminaries Sunday once each year, setting aside a day to remember the seminaries with prayer and offerings. LCC does not designate a specific date, allowing congregations the flexibility to choose one that works best for them.

The seminaries encourage congregations to use the propers appointed for the day, but congregations may also wish to incorporate the seminaries’ joint theme for the year: “Behold, I am making all things new.” (Revelation 21:5).

The seminaries have prepared a bulletin insert, as well as resource materials, for your use. You may encourage offerings towards the seminaries’ operating budgets through your congregational offerings, or request special envelopes by contacting the seminaries directly.
