An Evening in Wittenberg

WINNIPEG – The final night of LCC’s 13th Synodical Convention saw delegates enjoy “An Evening in Wittenberg.”

Participants arrived to find the convention hall transformed into a Reformation-era themed hall, complete with volunteers in costume and live music performed by the Amindra Consort (Kevin Scott, Mark McLearon, and Margaret McKenty). Guests enjoyed good conversation together, along with a German-inspired meal.

Rev. Dr. Richard Beinert (Immanuel, Winnipeg) took on the role of a Wittenberg professor, leading participants in games and keeping the evening rolling along. After supper, guests enjoyed a magic show by magician Ken Sky.
