IMPACT Youth Gathering Committee announces dates for 2026

WEST REGION – In a change from the long-standing tradition of not holding a youth gathering in the same location twice in a row, the IMPACT Youth Gathering is returning to Pines Bible Camp in Grand Forks, B.C. The summer camp atmosphere and the hospitable staff received such high praise from attendees in 2023 that the committee has decided to return to Grand Forks, in southern B.C., from Saturday, June 27 to Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Beginning on a Saturday is also a break from tradition, in the hope that it will make travel easier after the last day of school.
The new schedule format that was tried in 2023, having multiple speakers and fewer sessions overall, which allowed for a less intense schedule and more time for fellowship while still providing quality teaching in a variety of learning styles, was also so well-received that this will be continued in 2026.
Community, growth and equipping centred on Christ are IMPACT’s core values, and 2026’s theme verse is John 15:5; “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
The planning committee is: Sonja Bland (Registrar), Rev. Scott Brayall (Chaplain), Michelle Heumann (Co-chair), Rev. Eric Moffett (Co-chair), Kayla Moffett, Samantha Neeb, and Rev. Glenn Worcester.
Registration packages will be available for download at www.impactyg.ca in Fall 2025.
