2025 Advent Devotionals now available

ONLINE – As the church prepares to enter the season of Advent, the Lutheran Laymen’s League of Canada (LLL-Canada) and Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots (LAMP) have each released their annual Advent devotionals online.

LAMP’s 2025 Advent Devotions can be subscribed to by email or downloaded as a booklet to print at home. The devotions in the booklet were written by LAMP staff and volunteers, and recount stories and reflections arising from the organization’s work providing spiritual care in remote areas of northern Canada.

LLL-Canada is releasing two devotionals this year: one for adults and one for families. The adult devotional is entitled Born to You… A Saviour! The devotional can be read online, or printed as a booklet or in large print. It is also available in French, Chinese, and Spanish.

LLL-Canada has also developed a weekly family devotional entitled A Gift For the Heart. This devotional can be used to complement the use of Born to You… A Saviour! or can be read on its own.

In addition to the devotions, LLL-Canada’s website will be updated each week with colouring pages and extra Advent activities. Visit LLL-Canada’s website here to access their Advent devotionals.
