2026 Vacation Bible School Report

The 2026 Vacation Bible School at Peace Lutheran Church was held July 6 -10. This year’s theme was “A Miraculous Adventure”. We were blessed with beautiful weather. Fifty-four enthusiastic children were registered and our average attendance was 47. God blessed us with a tremendous staff of teachers, Bible challenge, craft, music, and games leaders, a, puppeteer, kitchen staff and an enthusiastic pastor who performed numerous and various tasks.
Each day began with opening and a visit from the puppet “Ewe”. Students then moved to their classrooms for the Bible story of the day. The Bible story was reinforced when they proceeded to Bible challenge, crafts, music, games, and snacks.
We were blessed with the addition of financial support, staff support and several students from St. Peter’s Simcoe along with Bible Challenge leader Pastor Dan Abraham.

Our Mission Project for the week was Tillsonburg Helping Hands food bank which impacts our community in a very meaningful way.
The congregation’s financial support along with their prayers enable us to reach out to the community around us as we strive to share God’s miraculous adventure.
The Sunday wrap-up took place during morning worship and we were encouraged by the number of non-member families and guests that attended. It is our hope and prayer that students outside the congregation will join us for Sunday School in the fall.
