EDMONTON – Concordia Lutheran Seminary (CLS) has announced the departure of Dr. Joel Heck, marking the conclusion of his time as Interim President. The Seminary expressed deep gratitude to God for Dr. Heck’s faithful leadership during this transitional season.
“We now welcome our three Interim Vice Presidents, who have graciously stepped forward to serve Concordia Lutheran Seminary in this next chapter,” CLS shared.
- Mr. Ron Ludke, Vice-President of Finance and Development
- Rev. Jan Pastucha, Senior Vice-President, Vice-President of Administration
- Rev. Jim Fritsche, Vice-President of Church Relations
CLS continued: “May the Lord bless their leadership, strengthen their hands for the work ahead, and guide all of us as we continue to walk in faith, united in Christ, and look with hope toward the calling of a new President.”
The Seminary’s Board of Regents is actively engaged in the next steps of the presidential search process, currently completing interviews with two candidates: Rev. Dr. Stephen Hultgren and Rev. Jonathan Kraemer.
