Gertrude Pollex Bursary accepting applications for 2023

CANADA – Applications for the Gertrude Pollex Bursary for the 2023 fall year are now being accepted from any Lutheran women who will be attending a post-secondary program or specific educational advancement program and who desire to serve the Lord in church work or are entering full-time service as parish workers, deaconesses, parochial school teachers, church musicians, or organists/choir directors.

Application forms for the bursary are available on the Lutheran Women website (lutheranwomen.ca) or from Diana Grant, VP District Administration Ontario and must be completed and returned to her no later than May 31, 2023 for consideration for the fall of 2023. Applications will be accepted via email or Canada Post but must be received before the deadline.

Applications must meet the criteria set forward in the Guidelines and Procedures also available on the website or from Diana Grant; along with a letter of reference from their pastor and their LWMLC society.
