Video: “By this Gospel”

KELOWNA, B.C. – President Robert Bugbee of Lutheran Church–Canada was the preacher at the opening worship service of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League—Canada’s national convention in Kelowna, B.C. in July. His sermon, entitled “By this Gospel,” is now online. The text for reflection, drawn from the convention’s theme of “Hold Fast to the Word,” is 1 Corinthians 15:1-2:

“Now brothers, I want to remind you of the Gospel I preached to you which you all have received, the one by which you have come to stand. By this Gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.”
